Jessica Simon, RDN

Personality

Jessica leads with warmth and a sense of humor, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for her clients. She values building long-term relationships and takes the time to get to know each person beyond their nutrition story, understanding that their experiences, routines, and goals all play an important role in their health.

Background

Jessica earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Health from Emory University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She is also a Certified Integrative and Functional Nutrition Practitioner (IFNCP) through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy. Jessica brings three years of clinical experience within the Mount Sinai Health System, where she has worked with a diverse range of complex medical conditions and developed a strong clinical foundation. In addition to her hospital experience, she has provided individualized nutrition counseling to a diverse private-practice clientele, including athletes, performing artists, busy parents, individuals with gastrointestinal conditions, and those navigating GLP-1 medications.

Counseling Philosophy

Jessica believes in taking a root-cause approach to nutrition, recognizing that the body and mind are deeply interconnected and that true health requires looking at the whole person. She takes an individualized, inside-out approach to care, working to understand the underlying factors that may be contributing to how a client feels rather than simply addressing symptoms. Jessica sees herself as both a source of support and an accountability partner—meeting clients where they are while also challenging and empowering them to make meaningful changes, heal, reach their goals, and ultimately feel their best.
