Lisa Moskovitz, CEO, RD, CDN

With an extensive background in nutrition sciences and behavioral counseling she has successfully treated thousands of New Yorkers. Lisa has a special talent & dedication to helping all her clients no matter their specific challenges and barriers.

Lisa strongly believes and understands there is no one-size fits all plan. The key to success is to find a program that will satisfy your needs and fit in to your lifestyle. If you’re constantly traveling for work, or frequently eat out in restaurants, following a strict diet will not work and may even backfire. With the right knowledge and tools, she believes you can keep living your life and also reach your health goals at the same time. Lisa graduated with honors from Syracuse University where she earned a B.S. in Nutrition Sciences. She honed her counseling & medical nutrition therapy skills through a 12-month intensive Dietetic Internship at New-York Presbyterian Hospital. She has been in private practice ever since and opened her own business in 2013 to continue fulfilling her dream.

When she’s not busy counseling or running her practice, Lisa loves running on the treadmill while catching up on her favorite TV shows. She also finds cooking and listening to music extremely therapeutic. Most importantly she is the happiest when she can spend time with her husband, twin boys, and little dog, Cosmo. =)

Stefanie Mendez, MS, RD

Stefanie Mendez is a Registered Dietitian who received both a Bachelor’s of Science and Masters degree in nutrition from New York University. Stefanie’s has experience working as a Clinical Dietitian at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital in Manhattan where she treated patients using evidenced-based nutrition therapy for a broad range of conditions and helped them towards recovery. Nutrition and wellness have always been a part of Stefanie’s life. In her free time, Stefanie enjoys spending time with her husband and newborn son in their home on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Together as a family, they enjoying creating healthy meals at home and meeting other families who share their interest for good, nutritious food. In hopes of never having a dull moment, you can catch them most days exploring New York City, by way of foot, bike or ferry!

Chelsea Oarr, RD, CDN

Chelsea Oarr is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics through UCONN’s Coordinated Dietetics Program. After completing her course work, she immediately started treating clients at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital. With her strong background in medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling she successfully helps her patients prevent and delay the progression of numerous chronic diseases & illnesses.

Chelsea has also practiced with Greenwich Crew for seven years, and competed in The USRowing National Championships several times. As a former athlete, Chelsea has a strong understanding and respect for the connection between nutrition and performance. She understands how healthy eating habits can significantly impact an individual’s mental and physical health. Most importantly she believes that with the right knowledge and tools, eating healthy is achievable and can be relatively easy for everyone.

Ashley Sobel, RD

Ashley graduated with honors from the University of Delaware where she earned a B.S. in Dietetics. She completed a rigorous Dietetic Internship through the University of Delaware where she gained counseling and medical nutrition therapy skills. Ashley is currently working towards her Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. With a strong background in behavior sciences and nutrition therapy, Ashley has successfully provided nutrition counseling in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Ashley discovered her passion for nutrition from a young age. Her love of food and cooking, along with her active lifestyle as a dancer made her very aware of the connection between nutrition and performance. Struggling with her own gastrointestinal imbalances too, fueled a stronger interest and dedication to nutrition as a professional career.

Alison Malik, RD

Background:

Alison Malik is a Registered Dietitian who received her Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University. At Ohio State, Ali completed the Medical Dietetics Coordinated Program. This elite and competitive program included a 1200 hour internship with a heavy focus on medical nutrition therapy. In Columbus, Ohio, Ali interned in multiple clinical and outpatient clinics, including the Veterans Affairs, where she fell with love with one-on-one counseling.

Ali dreamed of becoming a dietitian at a young age. With an extensive family history with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Ali became interested in how medical nutrition therapy played a vital role in her family members care plans. Growing up, she was eager to learn more about nutrition, including nutrition in other chronic diseases, athletes, and healthy individuals. While in college, Ali was diagnosed with Reactive Hypoglycemia that she manages through diet; this only deepened her passion for nutrition.

Personal Interest:

In her spare time, you can find Ali teaching and taking different fitness classes around the city. Her favorite workouts are Barre, TRX, and hot yoga. Ali is also a dancer and finds taking class extremely therapeutic. Music, fluffy dogs, and Hallmark movies are a few of her favorite things!

Jenna Koroly, MS, RD, CDN

Jenna is a Registered Dietitian and health enthusiast with a Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Teachers College, Columbia University. As a graduate student and dietetic intern, she gained experience in a variety of research, inpatient, and outpatient settings, including working with college athletes at St. Francis College and Columbia University. Jenna has provided nutrition counseling to individuals at a wellness program in White Plains, NY to support weight loss and muscle gain goals, and has also given supermarket tours and presentations at Whole Foods in Darien, CT. She believes the foundation of a healthy lifestyle is planning and consistency. Jenna also works as an outpatient bariatric dietitian at Lenox Hill Hospital, and believes the foundation of a healthy lifestyle is planning and consistency.

Jenna enjoys running, and typically trains for a distance event each year, including half marathons and a marathon relay. She loves to ride Citi Bikes and travel, but her favorite activity is to spend time with the family Australian Cattle Dog.

Rachel Lee, RD

Rachel Lee is a Registered Dietitian who received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from The University of Delaware. She completed her Dietetic internship at the College of Saint Elizabeth, where she also received a Master in Nutrition with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Nutrition Practice. During her internship she was placed at multiple in and out patient clinical facilities and got extensive practice in nutrition education counseling at the Johnson & Johnson corporate wellness center and at Shoprite.

Rachel discovered her passion for nutrition when she was a child. She always had a love for cooking, baking and eating. She was also very active, playing field hockey and lacrosse for her high school teams. Learning how to balance diet with exercise is what sparked Rachel’s interest to become a Registered Dietitian.

Carolyn Leonard, RD, CDN

Carolyn is a Registered Dietitian and Certified in the state of New York. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition from Long Island University and is currently working on obtaining her Master’s Degree from Northwestern University. Carolyn gained extensive experience working with a wide variety of medical conditions while working at Columbia University Medical Center. She has successfully treated thousands of patients using her trained skills in nutrition therapy. Carolyn believes it’s important to practice what you preach and that a healthy life is a happy one.

Carolyn loves being outdoors and staying active. Her favorite thing to do is to try something new that challenges her both physically and mentally. Recipe development is one of her great interests, especially since she is always sharing new recipes with her clients.

Emily Buchholtz, RD, CDN

Emily has been passionate about nutrition for as long as she can remember. As a child, she was overweight, and for a long time she was unaware of the potential for long-term health consequences. Fortunately, she was able to successfully lose weight and keep it off. Through her tough weight loss journey Emily was able to understand and prioritize healthy habits that she continues to use. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Indiana University and later went on to complete her Dietetic Internship through the Northwell Health System. While working as a clinical dietitian, she has become fluent in proper medical nutrition therapy for serious and chronic illnesses. She possesses a strong sense of empathy, which helps to foster close relationships with her clients. Working in a clinical setting has given her a strong foundation of the medical aspect of nutrition that she now uses to work one-on-one with clients.

Kylie Gearhart, MS, RD, CDN

Kylie Gearhart, MS, RD, CDN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who earned her Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s Degree in Nutrition Science from East Carolina University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Outstanding Graduate Award. During her Master’s program she published her thesis which explored food and sugar addictions, especially in those recovering from substance abuse, and how to combat these cravings. Kylie has worked as a Clinical Dietitian for over six years in a number of hospitals and outpatient clinics including Lenoir and Wayne Memorial Hospitals in North Carolina, and Hahnemann University Hospital and the Center of Hope ALS Clinic in Philadelphia. She is now the Assistant Clinical Nutrition Manager at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital in New York City. She is involved in corporate wellness, often giving lectures or one on one nutritional counseling at different universities and offices. Kylie has treated thousands of patients with a wide variety of disease states and nutritional needs utilizing top-notch individualized medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling.

She loves cooking healthy meals (and posting them on Instagram, of course ☺), trying new NYC restaurants, and taking boxing, yoga, Pilates, dance and spin classes. An avid skier since childhood, Kylie enjoys hitting slopes all over the world and spending quality time with her friends, family and cuddly, 90lb Briard “puppy”, Brodie.

Nicole Roach, RD

Background:

Nicoles interest in nutrition fell into her lap after one crash diet too many. After being overweight for most of her childhood Nicole turned to crash diets for quick weight loss. Although she would take weight off she struggled to keep it off. It is then she decided to embrace a more healthful lifestyle and pursue her nutrition journey. Nicole graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree from Queens College and completed her Dietetic Internship through Northwell Health. Since Nicole has gained vast experience working as a Clinical Dietitian at Lenox Hill Hospital and South Nassau Communities Hospital. Through her own personal journey and strong Clinical background Nicole understands the need for a healthful lifestyle and hopes to inspire others to do the same.

Cassie Steinberg, MS, RD, CPT

Cassie is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal and Group Fitness Trainer. Her interest in health and wellness was sparked during her 18-year soccer career. After serving as team captain for the New York University Women’s Varsity Soccer team, Cassie earned her M.S. in clinical nutrition from NYU. Cassie has worked in various different settings, including acute hospital care, bariatric surgery, and outpatient weight loss and management. Additionally, she has incorporated her background in athletics to work with some of New York’s well-known fitness facilities and wellness clubs, including Tone House and Soho House. She brings a unique approach to counseling, pairing her strong clinical skills with her experience in fitness and athletics to help people achieve their goals.
