Paula is outgoing and always puts the clients well being first. By always staying open-minded and being a great listener she can make anyone feel comfortable. Paula always makes an effort to create a safe space where everyone can be comfortable and honest. 

Background 

Before becoming a dietitian, Paula worked as a model internationally for a decade. This ultimately led her to pursue a career in nutrition as she felt a lot of pressure to control her weight with questionable diets. Up until her early twenties, she was a chronic dieter, always looking for the hottest diet-trends. Now, she wants to educate others so they don’t fall for fad diets and dubious wellness trends. 

Paula pursued her Masters degree in Public Health and remains passionate about community health. As part of her public health work, she completed research studies looking at obesity management and diabetes prevention. In addition, she has worked with organizations such as The American Heart Association or the United Nations Climate Change Conference to address food insecurity locally and globally.

Paula specialties in weight management, emotional eating , women’s health and gestational diabetes as well as digestive health.

As a practitioner, Paula focuses on a highly personalized approach to each person she works with. She believes that each person is unique and needs a tailored approach to reach their goals. Her goal is to empower clients to feel good and find a lifestyle that fits into their routine long-term.

Interests 

Paula continues to be interested in fashion and design. She also enjoys being creative by drawing and painting. In her free time, she is most likely creating something beautiful, exploring exhibitions, learning about antique jewelry, or reading about icons of fashion.
