Harriet is soft spoken and collected in the way she conducts her nutrition counseling session. She is incredibly respectful and will never try to dominate the conversation.
Background:
Harriet is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist and Personal Trainer in NYC. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Long Island University-Post Campus and completed a 12-month dietetic internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, followed by a 6-month Nutrition Fellowship at NYPBeHealthy corporate offices. While in school, she worked as a nutritionist for a gastroenterologist and primary care physician fine-tuning her counseling skills for a variety of different specialty areas. Since then, she has built up over 7 years of experience helping thousands of people achieve their nutrition and fitness goals. Along with her personal training skills, Harriet can offer the complete package to all her clients who are looking to enhance their fitness levels, boost self-confidence and promote general well-being.

Harriet believes that combining a healthy eating plan with regular exercise is nature’s medicine and allows the body to heal, grow and improve. She understands the value of personalized plans and individualized counseling. Her goal is to develop comfortable and trusting relationships with each and every one of her clients. She has an abundance of patience and will provide all of her motivation and knowledge to help her clients reach their goals.

Harriet enjoys spending good quality time with her family and friends. She practices daily meditation, loves to read, and enjoys participating in a variety of daily exercises (running, hiking, cycling, yoga, tennis, strength training, Pilates). Inspired by her Greek roots, she loves to eat and cook a variety of Mediterranean dishes.
