Alex is often described as a friendly, welcoming and energetic person who is passionate about helping others. Conversations with Alex are effortless and easy. She prioritizes making personal connections with each of her clients to provide the most valuable and thoughtful recommendations. She is a “glass half full” kind of person and offers plenty of motivational strategies to keep you going!

Background:

Alex is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a diverse career experience. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from North Dakota State University and a Master’s degree in Biology from The University of Tulsa. The first few years of her career focused on sport/performance nutrition in college athletics. Alex became a specialist in helping athletes with weight loss, muscle building, developing a healthier relationship with food and enhancing sports performance. More recently, she broadened her expertise as an inpatient clinical dietitian and private practice RD, where she strengthened her counseling skills in a variety of areas and health concerns including chronic disease/illness management, acute illness, weight loss, disordered eating, GI disorders, nutrition for physical performance, overall balanced nutrition, nutrition throughout aging and group nutrition education.

Healthy weight loss, sport and performance nutrition, GI disorders, disordered eating & relationships with food, intuitive eating, diabetes management, and muscle building.

Alex believes that nutrition is the cornerstone for optimal physical and mental health; it’s vital to nourish your body from the inside-out! She utilizes an individualized and realistic approach to health while keeping a positive, fun and balanced mindset with food and exercise. Alex’s excitement and passion for nutrition exudes through her conversations - it is undeniable. Whether it is medical nutrition intervention, nutrition counseling, meal plans, recipes or grocery shopping tips, Alex is here to guide you through a supportive and pragmatic approach on your health and wellness journey.

Personal interests:


Alex loves spending time with friends, family and especially her rescue dog Scout! She loves spectating all sports and all things football. Alex is active herself and loves to be outside, at the gym or a drop in dance class. A foodie at heart, one of her favorite things is trying new foods/restaurants and cooking!
