Personality:
Summer Denny, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a compassionate and warm board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is known for being a great listener, ensuring that her patients feel heard and understood.
Background:
With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Summer began her career as a neonatal intensive care RN in the NICU. It was during this time that she developed a keen personal interest in nutrition, weight loss, gut health, and hormonal imbalances with her own. As a result, she transitioned to working in a functional medicine practice, where she gained invaluable experience in treating patients holistically.
Summer earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University after completing her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Indiana University. She then worked for a private practice specializing in integrative/regenerative medicine, where she promoted overall wellness, addressed health concerns with alternative methods, and provided aesthetic services.
For the past 3 years, Summer has practiced and trained extensively in nutrition, weight loss medicine, hormone therapy and attended numerous courses and seminars across the country to fine-tune her skills. In June 2021, she opened Helix Integrative Medicine located in Denver, Colorado. Here she enjoys being able to impact the lives of her patients by helping them improve their overall health and get them back to feeling great again.
