Giana DiMaria, RD, CDN, CPT
Giana DiMaria is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer who strives to create realistic and healthy plans to help you achieve sustainable results based on your nutritional and medical background. Giana’s passion for nutrition began at a young age due to the healthy diet the rigorous sport of gymnastics influenced her to follow. Giana graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, and completed her dietetic internship through Northwell Health’s program with a medical nutrition therapy emphasis. Giana completed clinical rotations in areas of general medicine, cardiology, bariatric surgery, oncology, gastrointestinal surgery, maternity, psychiatry, diabetes, neurology, pediatrics, long-term care, renal nutrition, and intensive care. Giana is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Nutrition at Stony Brook University and has provided nutrition seminars with focus on eating disorders, fitness nutrition, as well as the impact of nutrition on non-communicable diseases to corporate agribusiness professionals.
Giana primarily specializes in weight loss/management, diabetes (type 1, type 2, and pre-diabetes), cardiovascular conditions, IBS, fitness nutrition, and eating disorders. Giana also has experience providing healthy meal-prep/cooking classes.
Giana believes in providing patient-centered care and focusing on your individualized goals by helping establish practical and sustainable changes. Creating an empathetic rapport is extremely important to Giana. She strives to work with you and any lifestyle factors that play a role in your nutritional health.
