Anita Mirchandani, RD
Anita Mirchandani is a Registered Dietitian who received a Masters degree in nutrition from New York University. Anita has experience working as a Clinical Dietitian at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan where she treated patients using evidenced-based nutrition therapy. In recent years, Anita has been involved in nutrition consulting and counseling opportunities that span the world. In her personal life, Anita is a mom to a 3 year old and spends her time creating a healthy eating environment for her family. Aside from her nutrition scope, Anita is a personal trainer and fitness instructor. Her expertise will help you create and implement a healthy, long-term lifestyle.
Anita provides nutrition counseling for a variety of conditions including Women’s Health, Prenatal, Family Nutrition, Weight Management, Type 2 Diabetes, Thyroid Disorders, GI Issues (SIBO, Crohns/Colitis, IBS, Reflux), Vegan/Vegetarian.
Anita is a strong believer of balance and consistency. She wants to help her clients find the ideal balance that helps them stay focused so that they create healthy habits and not quick weight loss solutions.
Anita is a media spokesperson for the New York State Dietetic Association, an active member of the Greater New York Dietetic Association, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and speciality nutrition groups such as Nutrition Entrepreneurs, Sports & Cardiovascular Nutrition, and Pediatric Nutrition.

Aside from juggling work and family, Anita loves to explore and be outdoors. She spends much of her weekends in Central Park with her friends and family.
